On the morning of May 22, Lin Guoqiang, Vice President of Nanjing Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "NISCO") and Chairman of Weyland Group, along with his delegation, visited C&D Inc. (600153.SH) Steel & Iron Group. Cheng Dongfang, Vice General Manager of C&D Inc. and General Manager of C&D Steel & Iron Group, warmly welcomed the guests. During the meeting, Su Shaorong, General Manager of Cheongfuli (Xiamen), and Zhang Junxing, Vice President of Weyland Group, signed the strategic cooperation agreement on behalf of both sides.

The strategic cooperation aims to jointly create a new landscape for the overseas steel industry, significantly enhancing competitiveness and brand influence of both side in the global steel market. According to the agreement, both sides will conduct in-depth cooperation in areas such as coking coal, coke, and steel, promoting a comprehensive overseas market layout and expansion.

In terms of cooperation methods, both sides will adopt various approaches, including new constructions, mergers and acquisitions, to jointly participate in major overseas steel investment projects. Both sides will leverage their respective resource advantages in different segments of the steel industry chain to create a mutually beneficial and win-win situation.
