Recently, the Guangzhou Futures Exchange (GFEX) officially announced the first batch of enterprises selected for its “Green Empowerment & Innovation” industrial base program. C&D Inc. (600153.SH) Energy & Chemical Group was successfully included, with its services focused on lithium carbonate and industrial silicon.

The “Green Empowerment & Innovation” program is designed to support China’s national dual carbon goals by enhancing industry-wide risk management capabilities and driving high-quality productivity through professional training, case sharing, and innovative models. To qualify as an industrial base, C&D Energy & Chemical Group integrated its internal resources related to lithium carbonate and industrial silicon, compiled case studies on futures empowerment strategies, and organized internal knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance the team’s expertise in applying futures tools and delivering high-level services—laying a solid foundation for future participation in the program.
